At Mareeba Baptist Church we begin our services all together as a family and the children go to the front during this time for a kid’s talk where they are introduced to the lesson they will be learning that morning. Then during term-time children from the age of 3 until Year 6 (Primary School age) go out for age appropriate teaching during the service.

- Adventurers (Years 1-2)
- Navigators (Years 3-4)
- Voyagers (Years 5-6)
All children are signed into their classes before church begins and they follow the GodSpace program. For more information please speak to our Kids Church Co-ordinator.

A huge thank you from all the Kid’s Church crew, to Lloyd and Markus for putting the new roof onto the donga. It will be so exciting next wet season to have a dry, mould-free place to meet with the kids!! Thank you also to Murray and Coralee for cleaning the carpet tiles, and making the donga smell so much better!
May is a bit of a mixed month in Kids Church. Of course on 12/05/24 we will celebrate Mother’s Day.
We will also have the last two lessons in Unit 2, Exploring What Life With Jesus Brings.
- 5th May—Jesus brings compassion. Mark 6:30-44
- 19th May—Jesus brings life forever. John 11:1-44
And then we will start a new unit, Living With Purpose; Paul’s Life and Legacy.
- 26th May—Introduction to Paul. Acts 8:3, 26:4-6, 9-11
